The infamous blog Wonkette says we are just haters. When will these crazy women learn that disagreeing and pointing out a politician's flaws isn't necessarily woman-hating or feminist-bashing. He has several valid points and was obviously fedup.
 
I have many words to describe the women of Wonkette, especially its founder and the source of a particular scandal, which gained everyone involved national prominence for a time, but instead of inundating you with what I think I will merely post some links so you may make up your own mind on the cesspool that is our nation's capital. Besides most of these words really shouldn't be repeated in mixed company. Let's just say there are a lot of streetwalkers in politics these days. Heck, they are everywhere, in every profession. (And by “women of Wonkette” I mean everyone. It isn't limited to females.)

Rush Animation ThumbnailAnn Telnaes is a great artist at the The Washington Post. I love her latest on Rush, although I don't agree with it. Leaving aside her politics, her style is what I'd call cool and the idea of animation and cartoons online is just terrific. She does have some good (and legit) commentary in her archives. Conservatives need to get in the game.

Minnesota Supremes Say ‘No’ To Team Franken

Al Franken with a funny, strange look on his face, perhaps confusion“We conclude that neither state nor federal law requires issuance of a certificate of election before the election contest is completed,” the Minnesota Supreme Court wrote in an unanimous decision issued on Friday.

Let's hope and pray these favorable court cases continue.

‘Dissent Is Treason’

Recently Larry King Alive! had a “roundtable” discussion with some nitwits, both on the Left and the Right. Stephanie Miller says dissent is treasonous and "George Bush! George Bush! George Bush!" Larry King is confused. Lars is being Lars. And there is some Republican chick who needs to go for the jugular. The one good jab Ms. Republican gets in is “Arianna, I wish you'd get your facts straight.”

Hopefully it is only a matter of time before some decent limited government folk. Stephanie then adds that "Rush Limbaugh should be executed for treason," admitting that she wants similar publicity that he deservedly gets.

‘Never waste a good crisis’

News sites from India are actually doing journalism that American reporters apparently won't do. Reuters India is just one example.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told an audience in Europe to “never waste a good crisis.”

Young European minds full-of-mush were told, “Don't waste it when it can have a very positive impact on climate change and energy security.”

“Certainly the United States has been negligent in living up to its responsibilities,” Clinton said.

Meanwhile, Bret Baier of Fox News (This is Faux News if you lean left. The name just shows how unimaginative most liberals actually are.) reports on Hillary's little jaunt to Europe (“Hillary Clinton Rewrites History in Front of Puzzled Europeans”). 

Members of the European Parliament in Brussels were shaking their heads today after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton incorrectly said U.S. democracy is older than Europe's. Clinton compared Europe's multi-party political system to our two-party version: “It is hard enough with two parties to come to any resolution, and I say this very respectfully, because I feel the same way about our own democracy, which has been around a lot longer than European democracy.”

Radio host Mark Levin challenges David Frum on his inane talking points and for being a huge part of the problem. It is a classic moment. Why it didn't come sooner, I will never understand. He needs to be mocked, laughed at, and shunned by conservatives. He has plenty of fickle friends in the media and Washington. Levin should have more shows like this one and if he does his audience share will grow and grow. David Brooks, you're next!

Europe swooned and swayed over Obama during the general election (and even before), but that world is steadily eroding away day-by-day. Britain in particular has seen some diplomatic gaffes from the administration and the Russians are throwing their weight around a bit.
